Welcome to Vintage Dundee Stars, a collection of ice hockey jerseys and cards from the pre-EIHL era Dundee Stars teams.

Ice hockey in Dundee, Scotland goes back a long way. The ‘old’ Dundee ice rink was built in 1938 and many great teams and players played there until it was demolished in the early 1990s.
I never set foot in the old rink and didn’t know anything about ice hockey until the Dundee Ice Arena was built in 2000. At that time I started hearing about the Dundee Rockets and Dundee Tigers teams and players like Roch Bois, Roy Halpin, Chris Brinster, Joe Guilcher… (it’s a long list!) I never saw these teams or players on the ice but did watch the newly formed Dundee Stars from their first season in 2001/02 until I emigrated during the 2010/11 season. It is my hope that by displaying this collection of hockey jerseys and cards, they can serve as a reminder of the players I watched in this era of Dundee hockey history.

This website is based around any player who contributed to the Stars success through their first 4 seasons in the British National League and the following 5 seasons in the Scottish National League.
